When I'm eating, I hate that my other senses are not as sharp... e.g. I cannot focus on reading and I find that I cannot hear as well as I could if I was not munching away.
My question is this:
- Is this a primal instinct of our suppressed predatory state- focusing only on devouring our prey before a competitor arrives or because we do not know when our next successful hunt will be- or am I just a greedy guts that drowns out my others senses because I'm enjoying my foody moment way too much?

I had such a weird dream last night.
I felt like I had chewing gum stuck in my gum and I kept pulling and pulling until I realized the bulk of what I was pulling was my gum, so I just had this mess of gum and chewing gum coiled in my mouth.
My mum wouldn't cut it because she thought I'd bleed out and I was too terrified to do it myself, so for the rest of the dream I was walking about, gagging, with this fleshy gummy mess in, and hanging out of, my mouth.
I guess this connects to teeth and from the experience I have of dream interpretation (as I ended up exploring it for GCSE art) I know that nightmares about teeth is a typical anxiety dr
